Brandon Hall Group Research Highlights, Aug. 3-21, 2020

The coronavirus pandemic hits employers in multiple ways and Brandon Hall Group research addresses the critical issues through a data-rich report that shows changing trends, plus a pair of webinars examining how inclusion and learning agility can make a big difference.

Highlight

Transitioning to the New Realities of the COVID-19 Experience

This report shows how the thoughts and actions of organizations evolved over the last two months of the COVI0-19 pandemic. While many employees may return to on-site work over the next several months, the percentage of organizations with at least half their employees working from home will be 116% higher than before the pandemic, according to our research. Employers will now manage two realities — a revamped workplace and a still-evolving remote work environment. Everyone’s jobs will become even more complex than they were in the first months of a pandemic that may linger for many more months.

Turning Conflict into Inclusion: Thriving in the Chaos of the Pandemic, Protests and Political Tension (Webinar)

in an increasingly polarized society, many norms of communication have broken down and quarantine restrictions only exacerbate our inability to connect and address difficult topics. Corporate leaders cannot afford to stay silent as these world issues impact us at work as well as at home. In this webinar, Bonnie St. John, President and CEO of Blue Circle Leadership, shares her perspective as an African-American and amputee with over 30 years of experience as a leader in business and government. She equips leaders with fresh, practical tools to help bridge sensitive subjects and situations without blaming, shaming or silencing divergent points of view.

Learning Agility: Five Ways Learning Will Change (Webinar)

As the workforce re-emerges on the other side of the coronavirus outbreak, organizations are grappling with what business operations and learning will look like in the world of the “new/next normal.” If anything, the shutdown crystalized the need for learning agility. Organizations with agile learning processes and systems were able to pivot; those with more traditional learning systems and processes struggled. This webinar, sponsored by Inkling, explores five ways learning will be transformed, based on recent research conducted by Brandon Hall Group.

Solution Provider Profile: Rapid Learning, a BTS Company

Rapid Learning, a BTS Company, is a best-in-class leadership- and sales-training organization that features research-based, single-concept micro-training as the centerpiece of its talent development solutions. Its list of clients, which includes Fortune 500 as well as small and medium organizations, accesses content through Rapid Learning’s online subscription learning platform or by licensing its videos to post on their in-house Learning Management Systems.

Solution Provider Profile: NIIT

If an organization is challenged by any aspect of learning and development, NIIT can help. Instead of turning to multiple providers for creating content, curation, technology, etc., NIIT can fill the gaps or even handle the entire L&D process for you. The solutions and services cover every aspect of learning, no matter how big or how small.

Solution Provider Profile: MindTickle

MindTickle combines deep understanding of effective learning and the dynamics of selling to offer a unique sales training platform that meets the needs of organizations of all types and sizes. The bottom line is that MindTickle enables organizations to bridge the often-vast sales capability gap. It is not a learning platform; it is truly a sales readiness platform. MindTickle leaders have effectively addressed what most corporate sales and learning leaders have not: how to truly prepare sales professionals to increase sales, revenue and profits.

Solution Provider Profile: AppLearn

AppLearn is a pioneering digital-adoption company that aligns technology and people to bring certainty to enterprise software investments. The AppLearn Adopt data-powered digital adoption solution optimizes software value, helping organizations to improve business outcomes, increase workforce productivity and reduce SaaS support costs.

Solution Provider Profile: Principled Technologies

When companies focus on the actual learning experience instead of just the user experience of finding learning, they typically realize their content is sorely lacking. This is where a provider such as Principled Technologies comes in to take learner engagement to the next level. They are all about creating engaging, interactive learning experiences that drive results. Principled Technologies can provide organizations with games, interactive videos, simulations and other attention-grabbing content.

Solution Provider Profile: Origin Learning

There are learning solutions that focus on being a Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and those that are focused on delivering to the extended enterprise, but Origin Learning’s Fractal is perhaps the only LXP specifically built for the extended enterprise. Fractal allows companies to deliver the kind of world-class, modern learning experience that is typically reserved for internal learning audiences.

Solution Provider Profile: Upside Learning

For originations that need strong, engaging learning content but don’t necessarily have the bandwidth to create it internally, Upside Learning offers extensive custom learning content services. They can provide anything from building a learning game to helping an organization fully understand their learning needs and designing approaches that meet those specific needs. In every case, Upside takes a partnership approach to learning content.

Solution Provider Profile: Thought Industries

For some organizations, the extended enterprise is an afterthought when it comes to learning. However, for a growing segment of companies, delivering learning to resellers, franchisees, association members and customers is a critical part of their business. Thought Industries offers a platform specifically designed to meet the learning needs of the extended enterprise. The solution makes it easy to create multiple branded learning interfaces for various audiences. These interfaces are easy to use and navigate, which can be critical when delivering to non-employee learners.

Solution Provider Profile: PlayerLync

PlayerLync started in 2011 by offering mobile technology that enabled pro sports franchises to access an array of data — such as game film — anywhere, anytime. Now it does the same for several industries with large mobile workforces — particularly restaurants, manufacturers, retailers and, increasingly, utilities. It’s a unique platform that delivers a wide array of mobile content — online or offline. It’s a game-changer.

Solution Provider Profile: XPERTEAM

XPERTEAM has an LMS that is well-suited for large, worldwide organizations — especially those with multilingual needs. The platform handles high-volume learning with relative ease, yet still offers the features and functionality expected of a modern LMS. The standout features include the depth of assessments and quizzes that can be created, full mobile responsiveness and simple tools for leaner-generated content.

Leadership Development

Solution Provider Profile: Entelechy

In an era when training is increasingly commoditized, the dedicated Entelechy team is focused on customizing all their leadership training experiences to fit the unique needs of the customer. Entelechy, whose clients range from solid-waste management company Republic Services to media giant Comcast, should get serious consideration if you are looking for customized, foundational leadership training across your organization.

Talent Management

Solution Provider Profile: Chronus

Chronus, a long-time leader in the mentoring software space, differentiates itself by excelling in both the art and science of mentoring. Its MatchIQ® algorithm simplifies the sensitive process of matching mentors and mentees. And the executive dashboards clearly illustrate the powerful business impact mentoring delivers when done right. It deserves special consideration from complex enterprise organizations that want to scale best-practice mentoring at every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Solution Provider Profile: MentorCity

MentorCity is designed to be effective in a large enterprise or a small company, nonprofit or educational institution. CEO Shawn Mintz and his team are mentorship evangelists as much as they are technology providers; they are immersed in best practices that they embed in the software and explain in tutorials and templates. Performance support and education around mentoring are laced throughout the platform.

Talent Acquisition

Solution Provider Profile: Oleeo

With automation and intelligence built-in end to end, the Oleeo Recruiting Enablement platform is an enterprise recruiting-technology solution that enables organizations to make great and diverse hires faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Workforce Management

Solution Provider Profile: JazzHR

JazzHR is one of the strongest talent-acquisition solutions for a very specific need. Their platform is extremely robust while still being able to be on the lower end of the price range — but more than anything else, being completely focused on one area of the market, which is SMBs.
