Latitude CG and Polaris: The Power of Learning

Last year, Brandon Hall Group Smartchoice Preferred Provider Latitude CG cemented their relationship with powersports manufacturer Polaris Inc. as its central platform for learning across its extensive dealer network. This partnership is an ideal example of how the LatitudeLearning platform is built to meet the needs of a complex extended enterprise learning environment.

Polaris offers off-road vehicles, street motorcycles, snow machines and boats. To keep sales and service professionals up-to-speed across all of the dealerships, LatitudeLearning was integrated into Polaris’ overall system landscape. Polaris runs their Master Service Dealer Certification program on LatitudeLearning for a network of highly trained service professionals aimed at creating better customer experiences.

Training in this kind of extended enterprise is no small challenge. The people Polaris must train aren’t only Polaris employees; they also provide training to employees of the dealerships that sell and service Polaris vehicles.

Latitude CG was the right choice to meet the unique needs of the Polaris learning environment. Polaris sought a learning technology partner that could provide:

  • Comprehensive training support for internal and external users, including employees, dealers, and third-party independent users
  • Support for multiple brand locations
  • Polaris-specific compliance and development training for employees
  • Technical and sales training for Polaris dealers
  • Training on policies and expectations for Polaris suppliers
  • The ability to adapt and grow as business and training needs evolve and change

As with their other clients, Latitude CG sees themselves as a partner to Polaris rather than as an LMS provider.  And that relationship goes both ways. Polaris is part of Latitude CG’s Partner Advisory Council that helps guide the evolution of Latitude’s products, services and vision. Latitude takes these partnerships quite seriously, even having their partners invest in the product road map. In this unique arrangement, a client-partner can split the development costs of enhancements they would like to see in the platform. Latitude will then make it a priority and a reality.

The partnership with Polaris is another shining example of how Latitude CG works with their clients, going above and beyond as a partner, not simply a provider.
