The State of Workforce Management 2015
This industry perspective, based on late-2014 survey research and subsequent analysis, concludes that workforce management has a long way to go in its transformation from tactical process to a key element of strategic business management. Mollie Lombardi, VP and Principal Analyst for Workforce Management, concludes that organizations still struggle to prove the value of automation and tools that will let them gain the process efficiency that frees them up to focus on strategic priorities. But Lombardi says the research data shows that organizations that get over this critical turning point are delivering real value and raising workforce management to a true strategic powerhouse.
