This technology review focuses on the SmartRecruiters hiring platform. The provider has headquarters in San Francisco and Krakow, Poland, and more than 500 customers worldwide. SmartRecruiters earned a Gold Award for Best Advance in Talent Acquisition Technology in the 2014 Technology Awards.

Sears Segno

This technology review offers a look at the Segno platform developed by Sears as part of its omnichannel business change strategy. The tool focuses not just on learning, but on competency management within the organization. The company is an $8.5 billion retail firm ​with more than 150,000 employees. This earned Sears a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Unique Learning Technology in the 2014 Technology Awards program.

Absorb LMS

This technology review focuses on Absorb LMS from Blatant Media. The $9 million provider, based in Canada, has more than 1,200 customers worldwide in a variety of industries. Highlights include HTML5 mobile capabilities and a focus on ease of use and administration. This earned a Gold Award for Best Advance in Learning Management Technology in the 2014 Technology Awards.

The organization is based in Bloomington, Indiana, and serves learning, consulting, and corporate clients. The company earned a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Learning Management Technology in the 2014 Technology Awards.


This technology review focuses on the onboarding tool Appical. The company is a $1.7 million solution provider based in Amsterdam and currently focusing on markets in Europe and the US. Appical earned a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Onboarding Technology in the 2014 Technology Awards.

This technology review focuses on the recognition tools at Klick Health. Klick is a $100 million advertising firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada. This earned the company a Silver Award for Best Advance in Rewards and Recognition Technology in the 2014 Technology Awards.
