West Monroe honored with the 2021 Brandon Hall Group Bronze Human Capital Excellence Award

West Monroe, a national business and technology consulting firm, has received a 2021 Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Excellence Award for their work in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. West Monroe’s Unconscious Bias Training Program, Exploring Bias: From Insight to Action, received bronze in the category of Best Learning Program for Unconscious Bias Awareness.

West Monroe’s Exploring Bias: From Insight to Action was created in collaboration with FranklinCovey and a cross-functional team of advocates at the firm, and encourages participants to identify bias, combat biases through cultivating connections, and take courageous action to initiate change. The Exploring Bias workshop, which has become a staple in the firmwide Core Curriculum for West Monroe throughout 2020 and 2021, is continuing to result in a mindset shift for participants across all organizational levels and has become deep-rooted within the culture of the firm.

“At West Monroe, we are passionately committed to investing in diversity and cultivating a space for everyone to bring their whole selves to work. Especially as we continue to grow, fostering an inclusive environment becomes more challenging, but even more important,” said Susan Stelter, West Monroe’s chief people officer. “Part of this is ensuring our people have effective tools and resources to educate themselves on workplace equity. I am incredibly proud that our Unconscious Bias training has been recognized as a leading program, which is a testament to our partnership with FranklinCovey by building a program reflecting the needs and values of West Monroe and our people.”
