Microsoft’s Closed Corporate MOOC

This case study highlights the MOOC developed by Microsoft to support its sales organization. It worked with Intrepid Learning, a learning technology solution provider, to develop the community. Microsoft is a 30-year old, $86 billion technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington. This earned the organization a Gold Award for Best Results of a Learning Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.

American Express Realizes the ROI of Training

This case study highlights the learning ROI measurement practices at American Express Travel. The $5 billion organization provides luxury travel services and employs a staff of 9,000 worldwide. This earned the company a Bronze Award for Best in Learning Measurement in the 2015 Excellence Awards program.

Canadian Tire’s Onboarding Makeover

This award-winning case study offers insights into Canadian Tire’s onboarding transition from lecture-based to a web-based solution. The Toronto-based, $12.5 billion organization has more than 85,000 employees and operations span both retail and financial services. This earned Canadian Tire a Bronze Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.

Tenet Health’s Onboarding Technology Implementation

This case study delves into the implementation of SilkRoad’s onboarding solution at Tenet Health. The Texas-based healthcare organization employs more than 110,000 staff and has annual revenues of $16 billion. This earned Tenet Health a Bronze Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.

Onboarding Excellence at TELUS

This case study details the approach TELUS used in developing its onboarding program. The Canadian telecommunications company has revenues of $12 billion, employs more than 40,000 workers, and operates in the Americas, Philippines, and India. This earned TELUS a Gold Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.

LinkedIn Engages New Hires with Onboarding

This case study highlights the onboarding program used by LinkedIn. The company’s blended approach drives engagement and productivity from day one. Based in California, the $2.2 billion technology company employs approximately 8,000 staff worldwide. This earned LinkedIn a Silver Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.

Mercer’s Story-Based Onboarding Approach

This case study offers insights into the simulation-enhanced onboarding program developed by Mercer. The consulting company has revenues of $4.2 billion and more than 20,000 employees operating in 130 countries. This earned Mercer a Bronze Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.
