Award-winning Case Studies
These case studies – winners of 2015 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards – were released for publication:
iLEAP Enhances Employee Performance at InfoSys
As a learning organization, one of the key value propositions to Infosys clients is to ensure that clients look great in front of their customers and stakeholders. This means the learning architecture has to help impact the business while also playing a significant role in the employee’s growth. iLEAP was conceived to enhance the agility of employees so they respond to challenges and opportunities as and when they arise, thus increasing client/customer satisfaction. This earned the firm a Gold Award for Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.
Campus Certification Program at Acibadem Healthcare
Certifications are a quick method for determining whether a new employee has the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the tasks ahead. However, in some industries and regions around the world, certifications might not exist to meet a company’s specific needs. That is the basis for Acibadem Healthcare Group’s development of the Campus Certification Program. This initiative targeted patient services individuals to teach them the key responsibilities and requirements of the job in order to have a workforce aligned with business goals and objectives. This earned the Turkish healthcare firm a Gold Award for Best Certification Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.
Pizza Hut Delivers with Heart
This awards case study features Pizza Hut’s Deliver with Heart program, a game-based training curriculum designed to meet the unique learning needs of 17- to 24-year-old digital natives that comprise their pizza delivery corps. The overall learning objective is for drivers to safely deliver pizzas, while providing exceptional customer service. The program earned a Silver Award for Best Advance in Custom Content in the 2015 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.
MediaMath’s Digital Marketing Certification Program
As an industry leader and user of cutting-edge digital marketing technology, MediaMath was looking for a way to help develop deeper competencies among professionals in the marketing field. The organization’s certification program — targeting audiences from students and entry-level professionals to customers and experienced veterans — has enhanced the company’s standing as a marketing thought leader. Delivered via a blended method of classroom instruction, sandbox software demos and testing, and one-on-one coaching, this program earned MediaMath a Silver Award for Best Certification Program in the 2015 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.
ROGERS Roam Like Home
This awards case study features the Roam Like Home learning program developed by Canadian telecommunications company Rogers Communications, in partnership with Klick Learning Solutions. The program was designed to quickly educate staff about a new program that allows Rogers customers to use their existing cell phone plans in the United States for a nominal daily fee. The learning course, delivered throughout the company in just five weeks against a tight launch window, was a big success and earned Rogers a Bronze Award for Best Advance in Custom Content in the 2015 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.
Suncorp Group Makes Diversity an Organizational Competency
Diversity is a challenge for many organizations, because employees who haven’t experienced the positive effects of a diverse workforce cannot truly understand the benefits it can provide. In this case study, Suncorp Group’s diversity training program is highlighted, a simulated initiative designed to help the company’s employees to embrace diversity. This project earned the $94 billion Australian banking and financial services firm a Bronze Award for Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program in the 2015 Excellence Awards.
Webinars
Learning Technology for an Evolving, Mobile Workforce
The modern workforce is remarkably different than it was just 10 years ago. Workers today are more mobile, social, collaborative, and tech-savvy than ever before. So why is it that we keep trying to deliver learning in the same ways we were before the launch of the iPhone? In this webinar, David Wentworth, Principal Learning Analyst with Brandon Hall Group, and Jared Stein, VP of Research and Education with Instructure, examine the most recent findings from BHG’s Mobile Learning Survey and how companies can begin to embrace new learning modalities to meet the needs of their workforce.

Research-based Blogs
Measurement and Analytics Magic
In his blog of Feb. 15, 2016, Workforce Management Principal Analyst Cliff Stevenson discusses the barriers to sophisticated use of measurement and analytics in human capital management. The key to improvement, Stevenson says, is an organization-wide acceptance of evidence-based decision-making and the skills to communicate that philosophy effectively.
The Face-to-Face Component of Social Learning
We often think of technology when we discuss social learning. The latest apps and tools help to connect the workforce in ways like never before. Yet each of us still yearns for that personal, human contact to truly feel the value of social learning. In his latest blog, Learning Analyst Ben Eubanks discusses the advantages of dedicating some portion of social learning to face-to-face interaction.
How David Beats Goliath in EVP Practices
Brandon Hall Group research shows that small organizations — those with less than 1,000 employees — are adept at implementing practices that improve their EVP. Is this agility out of necessity to be able to compete with larger organizations, or is it because it is just easier to implement those strategies with fewer employees? Principal Talent Acquisition Analyst Daria Friedman explains in her latest blog.
